Tournament Details

The Degens & Dragons game is an elimination tournament that takes place across 5 phases. In each phase, players can fight against opponents as many times as they like to increase their score and loot item NFTs. Continuing to fight gives the chance of looting stronger items. However enemies get tougher the more you play during a phase.

At the end of each phase, a 2hr intermission will take place where a percentage of degens will be eliminated from the tournament based on their total score for that phase. If there is a tie for last degen(s) to advance, each of the degens tied for last will advance to the next phase unless they have not participated in any battles in the tournament. For example, if as in phase 4, 10 degens are to advance but the 10th, 11th and 12th degens are tied in score (and all have fought at least one battle): all three will advance - a total of 12 degens instead of 10.

A reward is also allocated for each phase. The higher a players score vs other players that round, the more reward they will receive. Distribution of rewards at the end of each phase is determined by your overall score on the leaderboard for the entire tournament. The reward is calculated by the following:

(MINT Reward / Total score of all players) x Players total score.

FAQs

What happens if there is a tiebreaker in score for the cutoff?

If there is a tie for last degen(s) to advance, each of the degens tied for last will advance to the next phase unless they have not participated in any battles in the tournament. For example, if as in phase 4, 10 degens are to advance but the 10th, 11th and 12th degens are tied in score (and all have fought at least one battle): all three will advance - a total of 12 degens instead of 10

What occurs if I disconnect during a battle?

Players will resume any battles that were interrupted upon their return to the battle arena, rather than initiating new battles when they log back in.

What happens if I am mid battle as a phase ends?

The players' scores and cutoff will be determined based on their existing score at the end of the phase, without taking into account any scores that might have been added from a battle initiated before the phase ended.
